The Beton Asfalti production cycle
From milling to installation: an integrated and sustainable process
The production cycle at Beton Asfalti combines technology, experience and sustainability. Every stage – from milling to the reuse of materials, from the production of asphalt mixes to laying and quality control – is managed in-house to ensure maximum efficiency, traceability and respect for the environment.
Thanks to state-of-the-art facilities, analytical laboratories and highly qualified staff, Beton Asfalti offers a comprehensive production process capable of transforming recovered materials into high-performance products for road maintenance and construction. The result is a circular economy approach that makes the most of resources, reduces waste and delivers safe, durable, high-quality pavements.
The asphalt aggregate recovered through milling is used as a constituent material in new asphalt mixtures, such as hot mix asphalt and high-performance cold mix asphalt.
At the CIS production plant (TN), a thermal mixing process takes place that transforms aggregates and bitumen into asphalt mix.
The plant in Mezzolombardo (TN) is where the automated process of bagging, packaging and storing road maintenance products takes place.
The materials undergo quality control in our in-house laboratory; furthermore, we maintain an ongoing partnership with an external laboratory for research and development purposes.
Hot mix asphalt is laid by specialist staff on both public and private roads.
