Cleaning of the gap with an iron brush

Carefully clean the walls and contact points of the materials to be sealed with an iron brush. It is very important that the materials to be sealed are dry so as not to significantly lengthen the curing time of the sealant. The product reticulates superficially in one hour and completes its hardening in about 24 hours.

Injection by means of a suitable gun

Open the bag, insert it in the appropriate gun, taking care to have pre-cut the nozzle for the application of round, flat slices having the diameter best suited to the width of the crack. Inject the sealant so as to fill all the gaps and beyond the surface so as to be able to spread and level the product with the aid of a spatula. Recommended application temperature : 15°C - 25°C . For better workability, store the material at 20°C before using it.

Perfect finish with GranigliaGrip Plus

In the case of very large cracks on asphalt/concrete, thoroughly dust the surface with GranigliaGrip Plus in order to create a buffer of about 3 mm above the seal. Dab with a spatula and allow the grit to penetrate into the sealant in order to obtain a homogeneous and compact surface able to withstand surface mechanical stress.

GranigliaGrip Plus is obtained from the processing of first class aggregates that are highly resistant to wear and tear, with a polyhedral shape and a particle size of 2/4 mm screened, washed, dried and pre-bituminised. This treatment provides durability, comfort and safety thanks to the high grip and appropriate mechanical support, particularly in the case of repairs of wide cracks (3-6 cm).
