Workability:

MaltaRapid has a special formulation that guarantees workability for up to 15 minutes, depending on the ambient temperature.
This working time allows you to position any type of manhole, trapdoor, or hatch. In any case, it is advisable to prepare the material strictly necessary for positioning and then the material needed for the re-finishing.

Fibrated:

MaltaRapid Plus contains additional polyethylene fibres that guarantee high mechanical resistance and prevent detachment from cracking.
The polyethylene fibres are particularly elongated in order to adhere and work optimally inside the mortar.

Salt and frost resistant:

MaltaRapid Plus is a thixotropic technical mortar with high resistance to salts, frost and thaw. Once hardened, it resists acids, oils, gasoline and sewage sludge.

No need for the formwork:

MaltaRapid Plus with the right amount of water guarantees a plasticity that allows for its application without the need for a formwork, even with thicknesses of up to 15/20 cm.
For a quick and correct mixing, we recommend our portable petrol mixer, ideal for rapid and consecutive restoration coats on manhole covers and traps.

MALTARAPID PLUS

Black colour:

MaltaRapid Plus is black to match the colour of the asphalt when the edges of the manhole covers and traps are finished with mortar up to the level of the road surface. In order to obtain a better aesthetic result, we recommend that you stay about 3 cm below ground level and use the cold mix KaltAsphalt Plus to crown it.

Open to traffic:

MaltaRapid Plus has been specifically designed and developed to allow for the rapid entry levelled with hatches and manhole covers and to proceed after only 1 hour of asphalt work. For this reason, MaltaRapid Plus can be used after 1 hour for light traffic and after 2 hours for heavy traffic.
